Over the years, I have experienced repeated betrayal from people I genuinely regarded as friends. Those I stood by, made sacrifices for, and trusted wholeheartedly often chose to pursue their personal interests at my expense. Some negotiated for themselves whenever I was absent, proving that their loyalty was never genuine.rnrnThese painful experiences have taught me difficult but valuable lessons. Today, I have become very cautious about who I trust. I have also come to realize that many people draw close to me, not because of sincere friendship, but because of what they believe they can gain through me.rnrnConsequently, I have decided to distance myself from every relationship built on selfish interests rather than mutual respect, loyalty, and genuine goodwill.
