Tajudeen Olusi, Chairman of the Lagos State Governance Advisory Council, has shared a memorable prediction made by former Senate President Chuba Okadigbo, foreseeing Bola Tinubu's future presidency of Nigeria.

This revelation was made by Olusi on Wednesday, while addressing a gathering in Yoruba at the commissioning of the Opebi-Ojota Link Bridge and e-GIS complex in Lagos.

Olusi recounted that the prediction dated back to 1992, during the Third Republic, when Tinubu, then a senator representing Lagos West, withdrew from the Senate President contest in favour of Okadigbo.

Olusi expressed his satisfaction with Tinubu's presidency, stating, "We are happy that God is with the President, and I want to say that God appointed him to lead Nigeria," and reaffirmed, "God appointed him."

He also reminded the audience that Tinubu's political journey began in Ikeja, noting that some individuals had suggested he start from Lagos Island, but "God wanted him to start from Ikeja," Olusi recalled.

Olusi highlighted Tinubu's humility during the Senate leadership contest, where he "showed the Omoluabi in him, he behaved well, he stepped down for Okadigbo."

It was at this moment, Olusi noted, that Okadigbo made the now-famous remark about Tinubu's future, with "God speaking through Okadigbo that day" and saying, "this Bola you see, he would become Nigeria President one day."

Olusi emphasized that Tinubu's presidency is "God's work" and "on record," urging everyone to accept this fact.

The GAC chairman praised Tinubu's contributions to national development, particularly in Lagos, describing his rise to the presidency as "divinely ordained."

Olusi expressed his appreciation for Tinubu, saying, "We are happy with him and we want to thank God for his blessings."

Furthermore, Olusi highlighted Lagos State's significant role in Nigeria's growth, stating that the state has made substantial contributions to the country's development over the years.
