The Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has expressed deep grief over the death of a Nigerian woman, Nihinloluwa Agoro, and her two children, Temiloluwa and Isaac, in a fatal road accident in Fort Bend County.
Dabiri-Erewa, in a statement issued by the Commission’s Head of Media, Public Relations and Protocols Unit, Abdur-Rahman Balogun, described the incident as heartbreaking and devastating, noting that the victims lost their lives during what should have been a routine journey.
“This sudden loss is painful and tragic for any family,” she said, extending her heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
She prayed for the repose of the deceased and comfort for those left behind, while also wishing a speedy recovery to those injured in the accident.
The NiDCOM boss further urged motorists to exercise caution on the roads to prevent avoidable tragedies, stressing that the Commission stands in solidarity with the Nigerian community in Texas and across the United States during this difficult time.
Reports indicate that the accident occurred on Sunday, March 15, 2026, as the victims were on their way to church.
