The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, is calling on Nigerians to maintain their support for President Bola Tinubu beyond 2027, citing the need for policy continuity and sustained development.
This appeal is based on the measurable progress achieved by President Tinubu across key sectors, including the economy, education, and infrastructure, under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Tunji-Ojo made this call during the inauguration of a campaign group for Tinubu's re-election, which took place in Akungba, Ondo State, where he was represented by Abiodun Ogunbi, the Chairman of the group in Akoko South West/East Federal Constituency.
According to Tunji-Ojo, President Tinubu has taken decisive steps to stabilize the economy, and his re-election in 2027 would consolidate these gains, underscoring the importance of continued support.
Tunji-Ojo emphasized the need for the campaign to reach the grassroots level, aiming to secure 95 per cent of votes for the President, by engaging with people at the unit, ward, and local government levels on the President's achievements.
He urged members of the Bunmi Tunji-Ojo (BTO) Campaign Group to work tirelessly at the grassroots to ensure a landslide victory for the President in the upcoming election.
The minister also advised the group to identify and reconcile any party members who may be aggrieved following the APC congress in the state, to prevent division within the party.
Abiodun Ogunbi, in his remarks, expressed gratitude to the minister for his support for the President and encouraged group members to mobilize massive grassroots support for Tinubu's re-election in 2027.
The event was attended by party leaders from across the state, who gathered to show their support for the President's re-election campaign.
