Footage: BBNaija's Phyna reveals fresh appearance just 72 hours after undergoing Brazilian butt lift operation

Phyna Otabor, the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 7, has taken a new step in her public life by undergoing cosmetic surgery, an experience she shared with her social media followers through posts and comments after her first post-surgery massage.

Her decision to undergo the procedure comes just weeks after the death of socialite Elena Jessica, who reportedly died due to complications from a second Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedure, an incident that sparked renewed discussions about the risks associated with cosmetic surgery in Nigeria.

Phyna expressed her thoughts on the procedure, stating that she had no regrets and was excited about the changes in her body after the surgery, as evident in her post where she wrote, “First massage. Now I understand why people don’t shut up about it… Finally did it. No regrets.”

She also shared her reaction to her new appearance, joking about her flat stomach transformation and saying her body felt more “snatched”, as seen in one of her clips where she said, “This is my first massage… my belly snatched sha. Everybody should go and hide.”

On the third day of her recovery, Phyna posted an update, @unusual_phyna Day 3 — this recovery is not for the weak 😭 trusting the process, accompanied by hashtags and a musical track, Sunset Chill Vibes – Ausku Studio.

Phyna, who had previously criticized fellow reality star Chichi for undergoing cosmetic procedures, reflected on her own gym experience, suggesting that workouts no longer deliver the same results as surgery.

In another post, she described waking up after her first post-op massage as an intense but worthwhile experience, expressing happiness with what she saw in the mirror.

Cosmetic surgery, particularly Brazilian Butt Lift procedures, has gained significant popularity in Nigeria, with the procedure involving the transfer of fat from areas like the stomach or thighs to the buttocks for a fuller shape.
